200 HOUR YTTC
"I did the yoga teacher training (YTT) in the Himalayan Yoga Ashram and finally spent 5 weeks in this amazing place. My aim was not to have the certificate. I was looking for an Ashram where I have the chance to learn more about the real yogic path and where I find space to contemplate myself. That's exactly what was offered to me. My whole stay has been a deep, inspiring, sometimes challenging, and very beautiful experience."
200 HOUR YTTC
“They take care of each individual that arrives in the ashram, they really hold space for you to cultivate yourself to give freedom to your feelings and to understand them. The guidance that they give you, it just offers a place of safety and I think for myself up until now I have never felt so safe within myself as that I felt within the ashram with the guidance of Yogi Ram and the other teachers. I recommend this place to everyone that I meet that is interested in yoga but also in themselves.”
200 HOUR YTTC
“I originally planned to go for 2 weeks, I was living a stressful corporate job in London and moving to a whole new life in Sydney Australia and I needed a break, I needed to reset my nervous system, I needed to remove the stress that had been built up in my body and that was exactly what I received when I attended the ashram. The Yoga was just next level, so spiritual, so pure. I learned how to meditate when I was at the ashram, the food was some of the best Indian food you will ever taste and the treatments at the ashram are second to none. ”
100 HOUR YTTC
"I picked Himalayan Yog Ashram because they are totally different, they are not part of usual yoga circus which you see so much in Rishikesh, the sincerity of original yoga is kept in its real form at the Himalayan Yog Ashram"

Engage in the heart-stirring devotional singing practise known as kirtan, which uplifts the spirit and promotes a sense of community.
Visit stunning waterfalls to connect with nature while soaking in the energising energy of the gushing water.
Experience a profoundly spiritual experience by attending the mesmerising Ganga Aarti ceremony, a spiritual rite that takes place on the banks of the Ganges.
Take a breath-taking walk to Kunjapuri Temple, where you'll see a magnificent dawn over the Himalayas that will leave you speechless and inspired.

Apart from the physical yoga practice, it is important to nourish the body properly. Our Program acknowledges this holistic approach and serve the sattvic food with high nutrition.
When following a sattvic diet, you avoid fried, processed, canned, and other items. This avoids cardiac problems and maintains a healthy level of cholesterol. Due to sattvic food's ability to keep our stomachs happy and promote simple digestion and absorption, diabetes and several malignancies are also avoided.
Balancing the Diet:
You avoid fried meals, processed foods, canned foods, and other unhealthy foods when you follow a sattvic diet. This controls cholesterol levels and shields against heart disease. Since sattvic food maintains our stomach content with simple digestion and absorption, diabetes and several malignancies are also warded off.
A perfect place to stay is essential in order to allow one to relax after a wonderful yoga practice. Another crucial component in making yoga a truly enjoyable and beneficial experience is convenience. Living in the close embrace of nature is in and of itself a revitalizing experience for the "Would-be" real Yogi, nestled in the Himalayan foothills next to the lovely Ganges.
Each individual is required to have a clean, comfortable room that they can share. These rooms each provide the following amenities:
