Due to accumulated stress our biorhythm and energy network are out of balance. This is causing disturbances in our being and we slowly forget how a deeply relaxed and energized body-mind-soul complex feels. This therapy helps to release stress on cellular and more subtle levels. Marma Point Therapy is a unique therapy in Ayurveda that helps awaken “energy points” throughout the body.

“A life-changing experience”
Everything about this ashram comes from the heart. The meditations, yoga classes, Ayurvedic treatments and food are all carefully prepared so that each guest in the ashram is fully supported in their healing, learning, and inner process. I stayed for four weeks in this ashram and underwent a personal transformation I did not anticipate or expect. Over the weeks I was presented with countless opportunities to delve deep within myself and look at what I really wanted in life. I feel I have emerged from this place a much steadier, calmer, freer person who is ready to start down the path of their dreams (now I know what they are!).
"Authentic Ashram for those looking to look deeper into themselves"
I did the 2 week Ashram stay and it was a wonderful experience. This is a place for reflection and contemplation guided by Yogi Ram's useful and simple insights. I appreciated the fact that it is a very small place (5 rooms) and that the environment is very homely. The food is simple but delicious. The rooms are very comfortable. The place is very well located with beautiful surroundings, not very far from the Ganga river. I would 100% recommend for someone who is looking to dig deeper into their soul, not so much if you're looking for yoga as physical exercise. Also, don't stay here if you plan to use it as a hotel, the whole purpose of free time is to give space to yourself and let things flow, not to put many activities and walks to the village.
“Transformative journey to the heart”
Exactly the disciplined retreat I was seeking in a wonderfully simple Ashram, which felt both intimate and spacious, allowing me to focus on my 'work' in peace and functional silence. The program truly and deeply restored my internal balance after weeks of challenging travel, equanimity through the teachings, yoga & meditations and digestive health through the Ayurvedic meals, lessons & bodywork.
"A peaceful and beautiful oasis to meet yourself"
I did the yoga teacher training (YTT) in the Himalayan Yog Ashram and finally spent 5 weeks in this amazing place. My aim was not to have the certificate. I was looking for an Ashram where I have the chance to learn more about the real yogic path and where I find space to contemplate myself. That's exactly what was offered to me. My whole stay has been a deep, inspiring, sometimes challenging and very beautiful experience.
"Authenticity at It's Truest Form"
My friend and I traveled to India for the first time from the United States. We weren't sure what to expect and wanted an authentic ashram experience. After reading rave reviews, we decided to stay at the Himalayan Yog Ashram. We both were completely blown away by the genuineness of the staff and the experience as a whole. The meditations led by Ram still ring in my ears during my practice at home. I wish he had a Podcast so I could continue to hear his words on a daily basis. His mastery of understanding the challenges of our lives we left at home with career, relationships, family, and self was crucial. Ram is perfect blend of spiritual leader and mentor, while embodying compassion and understanding for a life outside of an ashram in the western world. The staff works together as a team to deliver life changing meditations, food, and a sacred space for connection and healing. This will not be last time visiting!
